Therapy works best when it works for you. That means as often as you need, for as long as you need. Weekly or biweekly sessions are recommended initially. Many clients transition to an "as needed" schedule after achieving resolution or relief for their initial concerns.
To get started, you'll fill out some brief, secure documents that are legally required to engage the services of a licensed therapist. As soon as those are complete, you can schedule an initial appointment.
Your comfort and goals will guide your first appointment. We can take all the time you'd like to address questions or concerns; or, if you're ready, we'll get right to what brings you to therapy.

My primary therapeutic approaches are Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Motivational Interviewing (MI). I also draw on therapeutic concepts from Internal Family Systems (IFS) The Gottman Method, Mindfulness, and (Dialectical Behavior Therapy) DBT Skills Training.

In-home sessions are available by private arrangement and contract in Colorado.

Online Therapy is an internet-based therapy service. The online therapy platform is accessible on smartphones. Telephone only (without video) therapy is not covered by insurance.

Online Therapy has been demonstrated to be as effective as in-person therapy services, and therefore is covered by most major insurance carriers.
Online Therapy requires a video component. Telephone calls are not considered online therapy and not a service covered by insurance.
